I told them all including their lawyer, the township manager and the township engineer that the sprinkler ordinance was bad. They passed it anyhow. The township manager told the public he had been enforcing the ordinance even before it was passed by the supervisors.
In March 2011 the PA House of Representatives repealed the bad home sprinkler law. See: http://www.goerie.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20110312/NEWS02/303129949 Maybe the homeowners affected will want the township to pay for the additional cost to make their construction meet the bad ordinance. If so the township insurance company will have to pay the homeowners.
