The Supreme Court explicitly stated that the mandate is a violation of the Commerce Clause.
The Commerce Clause cannot be said to extend to inactivity.
Congress cannot create commerce in order to regulate it. However, Congress does have the power to issue taxes, even if those taxes are based on a citizen not taking an action. But there is no power to do evil.
The Supreme Court made a logical error. If the act is unconstitutional under one clause but constitutional under another the document is flawed. A flaw should be corrected, not followed. Moral laws are absolute. That’s why they are moral. Morally it’s either-or. It cannot be both.
In any compromise between good and evil, evil wins. Obamacare must be reversed. It’s the good thing to do.
