They seem to think they are opposing Trump because he doesn’t like abortion but it’s not that simple. Women who undergo an abortion would rather not have to do it. They would rather be un-pregnant. The religious people who oppose abortion oppose it on the basis of an un-provable assertion, i.e., that life begins at fertilization. It doesn’t. Pregnancy requires both a living egg and a living sperm so the argument about when life begins which is the basis for the religious opposition to abortion, is wrong which means the conclusion is based on a wrong fact set which means at least the assumption is unproven and really means it’s a false thesis.
The fight against abortion doesn’t begin with Trump. It doesn’t begin with the appointment of Supreme Court Justices who can rule that Roe v Wade is wrong. The argument against abortion has no basis in fact therefore fighting Donald Trump to keep abortion legal is not fighting abortion at it’s source. The source is the teachings of the Catholic Church so the source of the opposition to abortion is the Catholic Pope. Johansson, Schumer and the rest of the pro-abortion crowd needs to fight in the Vatican, not at Trumps inauguration.
