Star Wars was her real beginning even though she was in her early 20’s when she made the movie and Harrison Ford. By all accounts Carrie was one of the most interesting of people because of her antics.

She was born a celebrity, the daughter of two celebrities, Debbie reynolds whom everyone liked and Eddie Fisher, a rambunctious young man who married four women including Debbie Reynolds, Carrie’s mother. That’s how things were done back then.

Carrie said: “Movies are dreams! And they work on you subliminally. You can play Leia as capable, independent, sensible, a soldier, a fighter, a woman in control – control being, of course, a lesser word than master. But you can portray a woman who’s a master and get through all the female prejudice if you have her travel in time, if you add a magical quality, if you’re dealing in fairy-tale terms.” Good for Carrie for fic=uring that out.

Carry had issues and her life was a response to herself. It was a great life so, Kudo’s ~ good for her.

At five feet two inches she wasn’t among the tallest nor the smallest. Her mom was an inch shorter then her so she was taller than her mom. Eddie was five foot five inches, sort of short so the genes did what genes do.

Carrie popped into our lives as Princess Leia and sort of left for various activities until we began to read about her heart attack in an aircraft a few days before Christmas. Several nurse-passengers resuscitated her by getting her stopped heart going again. Good for them and thanks too because we got to get back in touch with Carrie. Unfortunately the story didn’t end well. Carrie Fisher passed away today but the world is better for her having been here. Personally, her life intersected the way it did with most people, in the movies, on stage and in the papers. It was a good life. She had a nice run.

We’re also a bit worse because she’s gone but she left her image and personality all over. Thanks to the internet we can catch up on what she has been doing and unfortunately, with her passing. She will be missed.
