His net worth is estimated at $200 million. He’s been evading taxes and Donald Trump has bested him on some real estate deals so De Niro is a bit torqued off about Trump. He should read up on the Clintons who by default De Niro supported. (It was a simple binary choice: Hillary or Trump. Support one is to oppose the other. Oppose one is to support the other). So De Niro supported Hillary which is like supporting a criminal crime family. That’s just what De Niro did. Supported a crime family.
Anyone who does that isn’t that bright. He’s worth $200 million but don’t take that as a test of his perfect reasoning ability because it doesn’t work. Trump said De Niro “isn’t the brightest bulb on the planed”. Trump told Fox and Friends. “I have been watching him over the years and I like his acting but in terms of when I watch him doing interviews and various other things, we are not dealing with Albert Einstein.”
It’s a good bet De Niro will not be attending any of the inaugural balls this year. Serves hin right for underestimating Donald Trump.
OTOH, Trump isn’t one that seems to hold grudges so it’s entirely within the realm of possibilities that he just invites De Niro to see what happens.
Everybody gets some things wrong at one time or another. De Niro is certainly entitled to express his opinion and we are entitled to judge him based on what he says.
Again, OTOH, we like De Niro too ~ but we only know hin from his acting. We could be completely off base but hope he get’s things right about his next president. No reason they can’t just get along.
