Yes, we know some want to riot. Not all, not even most black Americans want to riot but a lot of them do and they proved it time and against with over 2,000 riots in 2020. Between 26 May, the day after Floyd’s death, and 22 August, ACLED records over 7,750 demonstrations linked to the BLM movement across more than 2,440 locations in all 50 states and Washington, DC. Between 24 May and 22 August, ACLED records more than 10,600 demonstration events across the country. What do the demonstrators want? We don’t know. There are many, many reasons people protest, demonstrate and riot. There is no single agency that speaks for everyone. So we don’t know what black people want. We may never know. We know they aren’t happy but we don’t know why because there is no one place to find out. We cannot ask the demonstrators because no one speaks for them. A lot of people claim to speak for the demonstrators but most of them don’t give the same reasons. Outside sources like George Soros, ANTIFA, The Communist Party of The USA and Black Lives Matter have swelled the number of demonstrations but the history of demonstrations is demonstrations don’t get much change.
