Turn potato juice into brandy with this little moonshine still.
But it’s illegal.. It’s also potentially very dangerous because you can kill someone with the methanol and acetone that the apparatus produces..Or, .. it can explode which is just about the worst thing because it ruins itself when that happens. Probably best to just buy vodka or brandy or cognac…. It’s a lot less fun but a lot safer.
Here’s another type of moonshine still.. Looks a lot more sophisticated but it does the same thing. The idea is to heat the mash, catch the steam then cool the steam to get the alcohol. If you start with wine you’ll get brandy. If it’s done in the Cognac region of France it’s called Cognac but it’s just brandy.
