Not really, at least not anymore because most cod are gone. While they were abundant fortunes were made. But they’re almost gone. Pity.
Not totally gone but most experts believe the Northern cod will not be a major food product again. The Grand Banks fishing area is severely affected and the cost and price of fish will climb.
