An industry that embraced and continues to support for example Hanoi Jane Fonda has for it’s front men and women some of the goofiest people. Sure they look and sound good. they are good to watch but in general they are not the kinds of people that a nation or a culture will follow. Spike Lee is not an aberration to that industry. Meryl Streep with her Golden Globes hate against the president is too common among the industry that has hate in it’s heart towards America but they grovel to collect their money. Good for Spike that he turned his back on them, even though its probably temporary. Celebrity Net Worth values Lee at $40 million, a figure that is sure to go up, as he isn’t showing any signs of pumping the brakes on filmmaking. Of course he fits right in with them.
