America was founded on the correct basis that each individual is unique and that one purpose of government including law enforcement is that each person must be treated the same.
Some members of the Eagles want special treatment for black people who are arrested. Somehow they seem to believe that each person must be treated identically by the police and the courts if they are innocent or guilty, behaving normally or suspiciously or black skinned. Americans are expected to stand, remove their hats, face the flag and be quiet during the singing of the National Anthem, –the Star Spangled Banner. The protesting players are alleged to be Americans.
Players who refuse to stand during the anthem must know by now how much most fans hate their behavior. The hatred against their behavior will decrease the revenue including especially the money paid to the protesting players. So far it hasn[t affected the non-standing players but it will and it should because it has turned many fans into enemies of football. It’s that serious.
The fans are innocent but the non-standers do not care.
The president asked the protestors for names of people they believe should be pardoned. Not one single name was given to him.
the best behavior by fans is to boycott the NFL unless and until the protestors come to their senses.
