Binary thinkers think everything is a yes or no decision. Poker players know about bluffs and folds to get a psychological advantage. Chess players think many moves ahead and chess champions are the people who can think further ahead than opponents. Then there’s Trump who is better for America than a Master Chess Champion.
Donald J. Trump is a whiz at making and winning deals. Look at his 7 country travel ban. It went into effect immediately. Great. Kept some crazies out of America but the America-hating Left and the Liberals weren’t happy. Trump knew they would want to stop him from banning all immigrants so he baited them with a total ban knowing they’d object and push for green card holders to avoid the ban. That’s why they went to court which stopped the ban, ….. for now.
Trump will win when this goes to the Supreme Court because he has massive permission to ban people. It’s in the Constitution which isn’t a suicide pact to let enemies who want to murder Americans into America.
In a brilliant chess move Trump made the ban immediate so it would get to the Supreme Court really fast. Instead of months, it will go to U.S. Supreme in less than a week. Brilliant.
The anti-American Left is delighted the ban was stopped.
They are really happy it’s going to the Supreme Court because the court is stacked against Trump. trump of course knows that but he also knows the court must follow the Constitution which means his ban will be supported which will please the conservatives and placate the Liberals who will blame the loss on the Supreme court. Perfect!! Brilliant and Perfect !!
But there’s more. Any problem with terrorists can be laid at the feet of the anti-American Left and the Supreme court which is short one judge. It has five Liberals out of 8 people. Trump gets to blame the Liberals for delaying his appointment of Judge Neil Gorsuch to the Supreme court. The travel ban works in Trumps favor the longer the ban against his ban lasts in the courts. Same for the Democrat Senators who oppose the appointment of Judge Gorsuch. It’s a triple win for Trump regardless of how it goes but of course the American people lose the longer his travel ban stays banned.
