But you cannot PRACTICE law without a degree plus passing the bar exam…. which requires a degree. You cannot sell legal work but you can help people by simply declaring yourself a paralegal but watch out because the entire legal world want’s to protect the entire legal world and that means going after people who get paid for giving advice that could be construed as practicing law. You can, for example go to any library and study some of the many topics of the law. Philadelphia, for example has a wonderful law library at 6th and Arch Street/Market Street but you also need to know how a law library is laid out to find the books and laws because it’s far from self-evident. If you need legal advice find a lawyer; a real lawyer.
