January 2015, PA Attorney General Kane referred to loot accumulated by the Risoldis and their associates as “fruits of the crimes.” Police then seized around $7 million assets that included, $3 million from bank accounts, $1.2 million in jewelry, six Ferraris, two Rolls Royces, one cobra, and four more vehicles. One used Ferrari is worth north on $200 thou. Six are worth $1.2 mill or more. Two Rollers are worth at least $500 thou, a cobra anywhere from $40,000 up to perhaps $200 thou. The point is the AG seized $7 mill before a trial. The trial is supposed to happen, maybe, late in 2016. How can the government seize $7 million without a trial? Or has American law changed to guilty, prove you are innocent?
