From Times Now: “Audra Lynn Christiansen, who was Miss October 2003, was 23 and living at the Playboy Mansion in Beverly Hills when she approached Hefner for help, the lawsuit quoted by The New York Post states.
“Christiansen told Hefner that Epstein had raped and trafficked her, and also alleged that she had been trafficked to one of Hefner’s wealthy friends, Macau casino billionaire Stanley Ho, according to the filing.
“She asked Hefner to contact the FBI on her behalf because she believed he had connections with law enforcement and the influence to ensure her allegations were taken seriously. “Mr. Hefner called the FBI multiple times on behalf of Ms. Christiansen to report Jeffrey Epstein,” the complaint states.
“The allegations are contained in an amended complaint filed in May in the US District Court for the Southern District of Florida by 32 women who say they were victims of Epstein. They accuse the FBI of failing to properly investigate reports of his sexual abuse dating back to 1996.
The FBI has sought to have the lawsuit dismissed, arguing in June that it was “not required to investigate every complaint” it received. The case remains before the courts.
The agency has not publicly addressed Hefner’s reported calls.
Christiansen’s Allegations
Christiansen, now 46, was also part of the reality television series The Girls Next Door. According to the lawsuit, she told the FBI in 2020 that her agents had introduced her to Epstein. An FBI report of a 2020 interview, included in the court filing, says Epstein wanted to meet Christiansen after seeing her Playboy shoot.
She was not contacted by the FBI until October 2020, about 15 years after Hefner had reportedly raised concerns about Epstein, according to the lawsuit.
Hefner died in 2017. He was later accused of sexual misconduct, including rape, by women interviewed for the documentary Secrets of Playboy. Those allegations were never brought to court, and Hefner was not accused of rape while he was alive.
“The fact that the FBI is trying to utilize procedural technicalities to try to avert accountability and responsibility for its failures to properly investigate Jeffrey Epstein for over 20 years should be deeply concerning to all,” he told The Post. “How can you learn from errors if you do not acknowledge them?”
Epstein and Stanley Ho
Christiansen’s allegations also involve Stanley Ho, the Macau casino billionaire who died in 2020. According to the filing, she told Hefner that Epstein had trafficked her to Ho.
Ho was described in a 2011 email from Epstein to his friend Boris Nikolic, contained in documents released by the US Department of Justice last year, as “the richest man in Hong Kong”. Epstein also wrote that Ho “owns most of Macau” and was “the leader of the Chinese mob”.
The allegations involving Ho are contained in the victims’ lawsuit. Epstein died in a New York jail in 2019 while awaiting trial on federal sex-trafficking charges.
