Steve waxes prolific about the differences between talking about something and actually doing it then stupidly calls Trump stupid for TALKING about punching people in the nose. Simpson correctly goes into incitement and what constitutes incitement but Simpson’s examples do not mention Trumps comments about punching people as an example of incitement. The conclusion is that the lawyer doesn’t quite get this free speech stuff as far as Trump is concerned. He, Simpson, has a fine grasp of free speech and the differences of speech in a private venue compared to speech in the public square but he goes after Trumps words in a non-Objectivist way when he reveals his prior judgments about Trump and Authoritarianism without commenting on the differences between leaders, managers and the rank and file.
Trump isn’t allowed the same latitude in Simpson’s mind of which Simpson himself takes advantage. Healer heal thyself. …..developing
