“Why do we have a widely promoted ‘special relationship’ with Israel?” asked Philip Giraldi, a columnist and ex-CIA officer who condemned George W. Bush administration’s lop-sided pro-Israeli policies. Obama’s sympathies support Giraldi’s as can be seen in Obama’s “Quinelle salute” here: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=664_1389100597

Giraldi seems ignorant of or is misleading us about the 9/11 attacks by Middle East based terrorists. He wants dialogue between American citizens and the Arab leaders he supports; — many of whom are on the United States “political terrorism” list or the unofficial persona non grata list. These have included Hezbollah’s Naim Qassim, Nawaf Ammar and Ibrahim Mousawi and Lebanon’s Grand Ayatollah Mohammad Hussein Fadlallah, Michel Aoun, Walid Jumblatt, Sheik Abed al Karem Obeid and Abdurahman Alamoudi, a member of the CNIF Board of Directors, who stated at a rally on October 28, 2000, against Israel, in Lafayette Park, across from the White House: “‘Hear that, Bill Clinton! We are all supporters of Hamas. I wish they add that I am also a supporter of Hizballah.”

In 2004, Alamoudi who was at the time a respected board member of Giraldi’s CNI, pled guilty to financial and conspiracy charges related to terrorism and was subsequently sentenced to 23 years in prison. Eugene Bird explained that at the time he joined CNI Alamoudi was a highly regarded Muslim spokesperson who worked with the United States Department of State.

Did you process that? How does can Giraldi have any credibility to ask anything about Israel? How can Obama or anyone in his administration or Ex-Secretary of State Hillary Clinton be believed when they claim they prevented Iran from going Nuclear whey they enabled it? What is wrong with these people?

America and the rest of the Western Nations support Israel because Israel is a beacon that shows the world that good people must be protected. That’s not a special relationship at all, it’s very normal and those who oppose it are not.
