There is a question that’s not asked about George Floyd.. Was George normal or an aberration? The beginning of an answer in an inquiry into what is normal behavior?
Minneapolis workers and some community members removed concrete barriers on Thursday at 38th Street and Chicago Avenue, the intersection where George Floyd died. The area, known as George Floyd Square, had been illegally closed by community members last year after Floyd’s murder.
The area was open to traffic for a bit Thursday morning before community members put up new barriers. While some residents and businesses have urged the city to reopen the intersection, others say the area should remain a permanent memorial to Floyd.
City officials say they plan to keep one of the statues at the square as a monument. Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey said the city plans to keep artwork at the area and ensure the location where Floyd died “never has tires run over it again,” The Associated Press reported.
The Free Press online question sent out Friday asked: “Do you agree with the way the city of Minneapolis reclaimed the intersection at George Floyd Square?”
There were two options to answer, “yes” or “no.”
Commenters largely agreed the city was right to reopen George Floyd Square, though some commenters took issue with how other commenters described the people who shut down the intersection.
Some commenters described the broad coalition of protesters who demonstrated after Floyd’s death as a “black mob” and called the Black Lives Matter movement a “racist, terrorist” organization despite the movement’s aim to bring to light systemic racism in policing, fiscal policy and other avenues of society.
“The city did the right thing, should had been done a year ago,” William Ulrich said. “It’s time to clean up the black mob.”
“I would agree, but not for the racist (by definition of what it really is) reasons given below,” Paul Brandon wrote. “The problem is that there is no clear single representative of the neighborhood community. Lacking that, it’s a public thoroughfare and should be maintained as such for the whole Minneapolis community. A monument consistent with this use is clearly appropriate.”
“Get over it,” Richard Pyzick wrote. “Start focusing on our veterans of all races that give their life for our country.”
Beverly Stoufer wrote, “Yes, it is time to open but what communication was done with the community? This lack of communication, transparency, and involvement tends to be a continuous problem.”
Timothy Berg wrote, “As a young minister of the gospel, I preached a sermon way back in 1974 with the basic premise that God loves all persons unconditionally regardless of skin color and that Jesus lived that credo out in his life by loving and ministering to one and all. Within one week in response to that sermon, I received death threats aimed not only at me, but at my wife and our 4-year-old daughter. Almost a half century later I had hoped that God’s love and word might have softened a great many hearts on the question of racism in our country, but after reading several of the comments on this topic, I am sadly afraid I may have been overly hopeful. Jesus wept … and so do I.”

All well and good but was Floyd an aberration or not? Was his bizarre behavior to be expected or not? His behavior was carefully recorded. It has been documented but the argument is cleverly shifted to the actions of the police instead of Floyd’s behavior. Is behavior like his the norm in that neighborhood? Or was his behavior unique? Nothing has been written about what Floyd should have done and if he did things that were unusual were those things the normal things that could be expected from a man with the drugs inside his body? Massive, lethal, fatal drugs in sufficient quantities that seemingly caused his death but if the drugs caused his death why is Derek Chauvin in jail? Unfortunately Justice Demands an Answer. None is forthcoming except the response of Ann Coulter that Floyd simply overdosed.
Experts noted the high level of fentanyl in Floyd’s body, which Ann Coulter claimed was “enough to bump off an entire team of Budweiser Clydesdales.” Coulter thereby provides the basis for the death of Floyd. A Lethal Amount Of Fentanyl. The question is was Floyd’s death accelerated by Chauvin? Note the silence. The deep state condemned Chauvin without considering the lethality of the fentanyl. The cause of that amount of Fentanyl was the hand of George Floyd but Chauvin alone was deemed guilty of murder. It’s worthless to claim Floyd had a hand in his own death since he’s dead and cannot answer for the criminal drug charges. Chauvin may be the most visible criminal or the most visible victim. The aberration of Floyd has never been on the table because he’s been celebrated as the victim. Perhaps time will reveal the truth but probably not.

People need to think logically but Floyd seems to have been incapable of logical thinking. He didn’t understand cause and effect. He had zero concept of western civilizations’ mores (moral attitudes) that make western civilizations what they are. Floyd was not driven by logic and reason. Those ideas were unattainable and inaccessible to him. He operated on instincts. Many many whites believe blacks are like whites and will become law-abiding and civilized if given enough free stuff. That can NEVER HAPPEN. It’s been going on since the Civil Rights Act in 1964 and 57 years proved Affirmative Action is not the solution. No matter how much money is thrown at people without logic and reason, no matter how much affirmative action is bestowed on them, and no matter how long you treat them with kid gloves, they will NEVER be like whites and civilized. IQ is too low. Thought process is too slow. This is the reason Jim Crow laws were made. They were NOT to harm blacks or be mean to blacks. Jim Crow laws were to protect whites from blacks. Segregation and Jim Crow served a valuable purpose. Whites are best served these days by moving out of black or semi-integrated neighborhoods. Out and away. The aberration is normal. Protect yourself. Out and away. The best solution for black people is neighborhoods that are black. That helps them cope, survive and thrive. Anything else doesn’t work. The solution requires the address of the aberration.
