Kirsten Powers, a Leftist Liberal Democrat writes: Obama only mentions Christians to lecture them about their past deeds like the Crusades, Jim Crow Laws, which if you never learned it, were done by Christians, and his tacit support of Boko Haram by Obama explaining how America is” No longer a Christian nation …..”

He learned to hate America at Reverend “God Damn America” Wrights church where hatred against White People was not the exception. Rather than hectoring Christians about their dead ancestors’ misdeeds, Obama should either honor all people by including Christians or he should stop singling out things done by those long dead, things which support his narrow agenda instead of singling out Christianity to support his agenda.

A President is supposed to be Presidential. A President doesn’t divide people to conquer them, he unites them. Obama is not a uniter. He is a divider and he seeks to further divide America by opening up issues that have been settled for centauries. He invited people he favors to the White House, not to bridge the gaps between people but to use them and to support their agenda which is to say he and they further divide America. Obama constantly lectures Christians about how dead ancestors committed atrocities, atrocities which live in his head but not in the streets.

USA Today had this to say: “Religious persecution of Christians is rampant worldwide, as Pew has noted, but nowhere is it more prevalent than in the Middle East and Northern Africa, where followers of Jesus are the targets of religious cleansing. Pope Francis has repeatedly decried the persecution and begged the world for help, but it has had little impact. Western leaders — including Obama — will be remembered for their near silence as this human rights tragedy unfolded. The president’s mumblings about the atrocities visited upon Christians (usually extracted after public outcry over his silence) are few and far between. And it will be hard to forget his lecturing of Christians at the National Prayer Breakfast about the centuries-old Crusades while Middle Eastern Christians were at that moment being harassed, driven from their homes, tortured and murdered for their faith.” These are not the actions of a defender of America. These are not the actions of a man of peace who loves and respects Americans. These are the actions of Barack Hussein Obama.

Two key foreign-policy mistakes by Obama set up the industrial-scale slaughter of Christians in motion. Pulling American troops out of Iraq was a huge mistake. He had to send some of them back but to little avail. His pull-out set Nouri al-Maliki free to purge Sunnis (and Kurds) from both government and the military, losing western Iraq and pushing the Sunni tribes into the arms of Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Obama’s second big mistake in the Middle East was destroying the Moammar Qaddafi regime in Libya without a plan on replacing it with a moderate regime. Without those two massive policy mistakes Nineveh’s Christian communities would not have been destroyed. the beheading videos on the shores of the Mediterranean, and a thousand or more refugees this month drowning to escape the carnage and chaos in what used to be Libya are directly blamable on Obama.

We know talk is cheap. It’s easier for Obama to bloviate on the Crusades than it is for him to admit his foreign policy in the Middle East has been an utter disaster. Expect lots more medieval history lectures from the President, while the Islamist butchers in the region (and in sub-Saharan Africa, too) attempt to restore their version of the medieval under our noses.
