Before catalytic mufflers were invented and used the air over Philadelphia was maroon near the horizon. That’s all gone. Completely gone. The red has gone and the air is clear and clean…. Al least it looks clear and clean. Driving into Pennsylvania over the Tacony Palmyra bridge there used to be a maroon colored haze. Within a short time after the use of catalytic mufflers the maroon haxe disappeared. the use of catalytic mufflers did that. How?
