There’s a big white elephant in Richboro thanks to some knuckleheads who are running things. The Richboro Schoolhouse made Supervisor Deon a million bucks when he flipped the land in 1995. The building has been moved to the back of the lot. Commercial buildings block it from view. It’s owned by the township who gave the deed to the “Redevelopment Authority”, one of those mysterious government things that hide a lot of sins. Would you give the deed to your home to someone without some sort of a deal? That’s how politics are handled in Northampton. They like to keep their elephant out of sight but the smell gives them away.
