You do not have to support it or even acknowledge it exists but the reality is gay’s and lesbians have always been around. Homosexual behavior may not be visible to you but it certainly exists. Why?
“Why” is impossible to identify. What we know is that individuals are individual.
Heterosexuality is the default position of the human race. In fact, all individuals have a set of sexual attributes but sexual attributes in an individual range from heterosexual to homosexual. An indivudual can also be asexual, not inclined to be sexual at all. Here’s their flag:
The causes of sexuallity are not well understood, most likely because individuals do not concern themselves with their own sexuality because for most individuals sexuality is in the normal range. What that is exactely is very hazy but some individuals are hyper sexual, some are asexual and most are inbetween; neither oversexed not undersexed. You do not have to have a clear view about sex nor do you have to support or condemn LGBTQ’s. It’s entirely up to you but if you have a family menber that leans towards LGBTQ you will generally take a position about the matter. Here’s the LGBYQ flag:
Remember this. Sexuality is not a visible trait. Even if someone dresses as a different sex you cannot know what their actual sexuality is. Is that important? No. Not for most people. Most people get through their entire lives without encountering an LGBTQ. LGBTQ is a matter of individuality. Like it or not, LGBTQ is here. Sometimes it gets a lot of visibility but most of the time it’s flying under the radar. Personally? For me it depends on the individual. My attitude towards LGBTQ’s depends on their attributes and their position in society compared to me. I know for example that being LGBTQ is not a choice. It’s part of the attribute package of an individual. For all I know, I know some people who are LGBTQ. None come to mind but that’s just me. They get no benefit from me and neither do they get any condemnation.
