Twenty four Democrat women decided to take the bad advice of Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL), chair of the House Democratic Women’s Working Group and wear white ensembles to show their support or concern about “Womens Sufferage” at President’s speech. It was a major fashion fail. Suffragettes were members of women’s organizations in the late-19th and early-20th centuries which advocated the extension of the “franchise”, or the right to vote in public elections, to women. the Democrats opposed them but seem to have reversed their opposition over the years.
Flash to the Democrats: American women have the Right To Vote. Ratified on August 18, 1920, the 19th Amendment to the U.S. Constitution granted American women the right to vote – a right known as woman suffrage.
How far behind are these people? Demonstrating to solve a solved problem that was solved almost 100 years ago puts their competence into question. Maybe they realized during President Trumps speech that their white clothes marked them as out of touch so they had to rush out and change into something more American which they did. Change clothes, not their minds. That’s as impossible as designing devices without using math. It can’t happen so it won’t happen.
