President Donald John Trump addressed the joint chambers of Congress last night and he became positively Presidential as the Democrats mostly sat on their hands and refused to clap as he made point after point as a statesman; as Commander in Chief and as the President of these United States.  In a particularly dis-respectful act the extremely Left-wing Liberal Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader-Ginsburg refused to attend. She needs to resign.

The Democrats unwisely chose former Governor of Kentucky Dave Beshear to give their combined response to President Trump. He was outclassed by President Trump who was neatly dressed out of respect for the highest elected official while Beshear inexplicably appeared seated and without a coat or a tie.

If Beshear really was the best the Democratic party could do the Democrats have no reason or purpose anymore. In a word, Beshear was pathetic and small compared to President Trump who soared above all during his one hour plus speech. Beshear tried to condemn the President as often as he could in his pre-written attack on the president. How unfitting. How ignorant as though the president’s remarks meant nothing to Dave Beshear but Beshear’s words could have been drops of wisdom. They were not.


President Trump attempted to unite Congress. Mostly the Democrats either disagreed; refused to consider what he said; refused to clap or cheer, and showed America they are a political party in shock because Hillary lost to Trump; because many Democrats were voted out of office as a result of the Trump tidal wave of electoral success and because the assembled Democrats are politicians first even before they are members of the losing party. They don’t even seem to grasp what it is to be American.


The Democratic party has lost hundreds of elections during the eight years of President Obama’s tenure. Under Obama they had won the White house and both chambers of congress but since then they lost so many elections and last night they appeared to be in shock and awe of President Trump. After the speech ended they had the disrespect to run out of the chamber and the bad taste to condemn the president when they could have shown they wanted to join him in rebuilding America.


President Trumps speech gave lots of detail about where America had fallen behind during Obama’s term and how he as the new president would “Make America Great Again”.

The most moving time during the speech came when the combined chambers and the rather dour Supreme Court Justices gave a very long standing ovation to Carryn Owens, wife of slain Navy SEAL William “Ryan” Owens. Ryan Owens was killed in Yemen on Jan. 29 in a raid Trump has said was “highly successful.” “Ryan’s legacy is etched into eternity,” Trump said. Turning towards Owens’ widow, the president gave her a very heartfelt: “Thank you.”

Every American needs to step up and help our president, our Congress and each other “Make America Great Again”.
First lady Melania Trump marked the occasion with a beautiful designer sequined suit, complete with a wide waist-defining black belt. America can be very proud to be the place Yugoslavia born Melania Trump choose to live. She shows why America is the best place to be.
The President’s speech covered: Poverty; Jobs; Crime; Immigration; The Wall; Education; the Border; and Drugs. It was a American political masterpiece.
