A discourteous and hostile driver in a grey Jeep was driving in an aggressive manner causing other drivers to take evasive action to avoid an accident. I passed him and while attempting to catch up to me he was throwing the finger constantly but he was unable to catch up and finally had to settle down and stay behind several cars that had passed him.
On our return trip from Tamaqua, PA another discourteous driver in a black Dodge pickup truck jumped in front of us on the highway causing us to hit the brakes and slow down while the hostile accelerated up to highway speed. The hostile stopped in the left turn lane to wait for traffic so I blew the horn going past him. He promptly accelerated to catch up to me but was unable to pass as I accelerated to a higher speed. We went on for several moments until he made a left turn off the highway… Whew!… Why do some drivers operate in such a discourteous manner and fail to yield the right of way when they should?
