Jamal may need glasses.
Jamal may be younger.
Jamal may not have spent as much time in school.
Jamal’s parents may not be as rich as Jim’s.
Jamal’s brain may be… Uhh…No.. We’re not going there.
It’s enough to note that Jamal cannot read as well as Jim… It’s enough to note that Jim reads faster and deeper than Jamal. It’s neither Jamal fault nor Jim’s fault nor is it something Jim did that Jamal didn’t do. It simply is so.
So… how do people thing? How do thoughts form? The study of the ideas of a Russian-born woman, philosopher and novelist may be beneficial to an understanding but through it all, no one is exactely sure of how thoughts form. No one is even sure of the elements of which a thought consists but we can be certain that some people think better, deeper and more profoundly than others. One theory is that something that has been named the “g” factor is part of the explanation of thought but even though we are certain that thought is an element of the mammal brain we have never seen a single thought. Throughout the history of mankind from the very beginnings we know for certain that thought occurred but we have never seen one.
