The prices listed on two large signs are lower than the prices the clerks charge you..It’s not a little thing… Overcharging is a form of fraud… Perhaps the intent to defraud is not there because it’s only laziness or an inability to know the prices on the signs are lower than the prices Gibby’s will actually charge you but those are the facts of the matter. I ordered two cones and was surprised the prices charged were higher than the prices on the menus but there it is. I had been standing there waiting for change from the money I proffered but I was told it wasn’t enough. I explained what the prices on the boards were and was told they aren’t the correct prices. While I was waiting I was told the manager, Christine was coming. I explained I wanted change, not a conversation with Christine.. No satisfaction was coming so I told them to take back the partly eaten ice cream which they accepted ant promptly threw in the trash can. I then asked for change which they calculated and gave to me. I left.. For the last time.. We will not be coming back.. Oh.. One final note.. They were out of several flavors including Strawberry which is one of the most popular ice cream flavors in America… Go figure. It’s not even summertime when ice cream sales are higher and they are out of one of the most popular flavors. Inattentive of stupid management. Failure to keep the price lists up to date and correct.. Right!… We will go elsewhere and what a surprise that so many customers simply accept the higher than advertised prices or they are not even aware they are being over-charged.
