They come from poor parents who not only are poor because they cannot do jobs that require higher skills so they cannot earn enough money to escape poverty. It’s a nicer way to show that poor people have low intellects. People with low intellects, regardless of how nice they are cannot function above their cognitive abilities. They did poor in school and their children do poor in school as well as in life because that’s the way nature rolls. Some poor people so much better than others, perhaps because they are better looking or because they have some or several attributes that make them more desirable by the culture but that’s not the way to bet.
