In addition this scorn-worthy excuse for …  Will president Biden take away the supposedly demonized assault weapons from his Secret Service detail? Joe has no idea of how often guns are used for self-defense. One study, conducted by the National Self-Defense Survey, found that guns are used for self-defense  approximately 2.5 million times per year in the United States. This number is significantly higher than the number of times guns are used to commit crime, which the FBI estimates to be around 11,000 per year.

If misguided and misinformed president Biden is successful, and we certainly hope he fails in his endeavor he will have to  remove the Second Amendment from the most successful document in history, the American Constitution. In addition, president Biden will have to remove the so-called assault weapons, the guns, from the military. What does he want the soldiers to do? Hit the enemy with their shoes?

He actually said, while he was on yet another vacation, this time in Nantucket, Massachusetts, a very Democrat heavy state:

“The idea we still allow semiautomatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It has no social redeeming value. Zero. None…I’m going to try to get rid of assault weapons”

It’s not sick… It’s the law and even the president is not above the law which also means he has to follow the law. He has to obey the law too. He needs to get his mind clear and on the right track. Or, as he wrongly tries to get rid of assault weapons will he get rid of sticks, stones, rocks, bats, clubs, boxing gloves, whips, chains, brass knuckles, knives, swords, axes, bombs, rockets, bullets, hand grenades, cannon’s, warships, large boats, poison, fighter and bomber aircraft too? After all they are assault weapons.

Let us face this head on. Everyone will be exposed to more danger if we lose our ability to protect ourselves and the nation from the dangerous people who mean us harm. Who will protect us if we lose the ability to protect ourselves? the Second Amendment in relevant part states: …the Right of the people to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed. Certainly the desire to remove that protection is unhinged and disconnected from the reality of life……………..

Even worse, this out of touch with reality and somewhat mentally compromised individual, president Biden went on to call for a ban on practically all legal weapons.

“The idea, the idea we still allow semi-automatic weapons to be purchased is sick. It’s just sick,” Biden said. “It has no, no social redeeming value. Zero. None. Not a single solitary rationale for it, except profit for the gun manufacturer.”

Democrats often attempt to make hunting rifles like the AR-15 sound more dangerous by using the word semi-automatic, however almost every legal firearm sold in the U.S. is a semi-automatic device, barring bolt action rifles and some revolvers.

His comments come as recent polling also shows a declining support for gun control laws.
