The violent nature of some people has given Philly a bad rap as the shootings keep going on and on and on. Recent shootings happened on South Street. South Street in Philly is the home of Jim’s Steaks. The original restaurant chain known as Jim’s Steaks was founded in West Philadelphia in 1939 so Jim’s been dishing out the steaks for 83 years. Yum!
Philly is also the home of Pat’s Steaks
and Gino’s
as well as several other mouth watering steak shops. A great evening when it’s drizzling is sitting at Pat’s or Gino’s enjoying a cheese steak. Oh… You can order it without cheese too. Still a great sandwich. Enjoy!
HOAGIES
Philly also has a Hoagie scene. A hoagie is a sandwich made on a long roll cut lengthwise. Around Philly hoagies are as popular as cheese steaks but there’s been a lot of trouble in Philly as some ignorant people have to resorted to shooting their enemies. The shootings have come to South Street so watch out when you are getting your cheesesteak. Where do you go to get the best cheese steak? My personal favorite is Jim’s but I spread my business around to all three of the above because they all have great cheese steaks.
