America was started by white people with slavel, right? Washington had slaves… Columbus had slaves. Jefferson had slaves including Sally Hemmings.. America was the result of slavery…

That’s hocum. That’s the anti-White cancel culture at work. America was “discovered” by Christopher Columbus but there were people already living there and some had slaves.

Although it is difficult to pinpoint the exact year that slavery began, historians can trace the roots back roughly 11,000 years. The first identifiable evidence of slavery comes from the Code of Hammurabi who ruled from 1792 B.C., out of Mesopotamia. That’s 4,814 years ago. George Washington was born in 1732 which was 290 years ago so slavery existed in the Middle East 3,682 years before Washington was even born. The Code of Hammurabi tells us slavery was a common practice throughout the region which had been in place for thousands of years at the time it was written.

Slavery in northern Africa dates back to ancient Egypt. The New Kingdom (1558–1080 BC) brought in large numbers of slaves as prisoners of war up the Nile valley and used them for domestic and supervised labour. Ptolemaic Egypt (305 BC–30 BC) used both land and sea routes to bring slaves in. Early records of the Trans-Saharan slave trade, all within Africa, come from the ancient Greek historian Herodotus 500 years begore Christ was born. In 5th century AD, Roman Carthage in Africa was trading in black slaves. Slavery in the countries bordering the Indian Ocean goes back to 2500 BC. The Babylonians, Egyptions, greeks, Indians, and Persians all traded slaves across the Indian Ocean and across the Red Sea. around the time of Alexander the Great as described by Agatharchides. Slavery didn’t start in America but America was instrumental in ending it with the Civil War during which 618,222 white Americans lost their lives. That’s more than all of the people killed in ALL of the wars following the Civil War including 405,399 killed in WWII, WWI, Vietnam, Korea, the Revolutionary War, etc, etc.
