Thank You!… Who invented the compass? In the port of Amalfi, there is a monument to Flavio Gioia, who seems to have invented the compass in 1302. What about the Chinese? What about them. They had plenty of knowledge about the compass and the world but didn’t use it. Gioia did that. So did Columbus. A pair of White European Males.. Thank You!! What about shoes? Who invented shoes? Maybe the Egyptians … but they didn’t use shoes on their boats. the Romans? The used sandals… Are sandals shoes? No… that’s why they are not called shoes. Shoes cover the entire foot, not just the bottom. Sandals are to shoes like boulders are to mountains.. Much bigger and more complete. Shoes were invented by the Vikings of Northern Europe… the Romans didn’t need full shoes. Italy is hot so a sandal is good enough. Northern Europe is cold. the Vikings needed warm boots so they invented the first full shoes. White European people. …
