They take the profits from the sale of the products of your work. Make sure you get a piece of the profit in addition to the money you get everyday to design and produce the products but remember it’s the profits that count. Those who get the profits win. Those who simply get paid lose. Real losers are those who cannot even sell their labor. Engineers are the backbone and lifeblood of production. All products need to be designed, brought into existence, produced in volume, sold, used, serviced and scrapped. That’s the life cycle. The parasites insinuate themselves at the higher and less productive levels to capture a small piece of every sale and to grab ownership of the means of production which has very high value and to grab ownership of the means of selling and servicing to capture a small piece of every sale and to increase the value of everything tangible and intangible. Control is more important than ownership. Hourly pay is lower than piecework and ownnership of machines is lower than ownership of equipment and buildings to which must be added everything that has value even to the smallest staple used to join two pieces of paper.. Engineers make; marketers move and managers organize but everything begins with design. No products means nothing to sell which needs nothing to continue. Find out who owns everything in the corporation. Insinuate your good self into all.
