Their idea is to use the poor to increase the cost of the welfare system to bankrupt America. They theorize that if all of the poor who are eligible apply for and receive welfare payments the cost would bankrupt America…. They’re wrong… It won’t.. Why not? Because the federal government will simply print more money to pay the welfare people. That doesn’t bankrupt the system. It increases the amount of money in circulation which leads to inflation which causes the federal government to print even more money. Cloward-Piven simply causes a re-valuation of the money. Instead of paying people say $12 and hour they get paid more to keep up with inflation. What’s the limit to pay people? There is none. There is no maximum amount to pay people. Even if it takes $1,000 to buy a hot dog, the government will print $1,000 bills until there are enough $1,000 bills in circulation. And it $1,000 isn’t enough then they’ll print $10,000 bills and so on. Cloward-Piven failed to account for the ability of the federal government to print money. Instead of helping people get off welfare, Cloward and Piven encourage welfare as part of their Hatred-for-America. Pay them no attention.
