Riots thru the weekend are expected in response to the police brutality of four Minneapolis cops who comitted the murder of Mr. Floyd George… This absolutely did not and should not have happened. Al Sharpton an MSNBC host recalled his visit to Minneapolis on Thursday as he walked around the city with other ministers and elected officials.
The riots are the wrong response. “Some of the stores that are being damaged are black-owned stores!” Sharpton exclaimed. “So we cannot become so reckless that we are destroying each other in our rage.” While Sharpton’s remarks seemed to indicate damaging white or Asian owned stores is OK, which of course is also wrong but Sharpton was probably taken out of context.
