Supporters say re- introducing wolves would help restore ecological balance by bringing a much-needed predator for out-of-kilter deer, rabbits, moles, voles and Europeans. Wildlife advocates see Bucks County as a missing link in efforts to re-connect wolf habitat from the Arctic to Mexico. Similiar arguments have been proposed for bear, puma, deer and so on.
People can no longer stop the restoration of endangered species
Pro-wolf advocates planned to ramp up their campaign and get more public support from crazy people who believe settlers have damaged the landscape by forcing apex preditors to go elsewhere for prey.
But livestock groups and local leaders in a dozen communities oppose the measure. The opponents argue that wolves – unlike lynx, moose, prairie chickens and other previously seeded species – cannot peacefully coexist in a state with almost 4 million people. They hold Bucks still is deficient in lynx and moose despite the many crazies who constantly work to,… oh, who knows… Everyplace has needed predators so why should Bucks County remain safe just for people?
BTW… This is all a joke…
