White people need to get their outrage on against this clear HATE WHITEY course at Westfield Public School in Union County NJ.  Quote from their minutes: “The Board approved the elective – “Power, Privilege and Imbalance in American Society” –  in a 6-3 vote. their address is: Westfield Public Schools 302 Elm Street, Westfield, NJ 07090. Phone: 908/789-4400.

“The purpose of this course is to understand the barriers encountered by people of ethnic minorities and how those barriers were created and have changed America,” a description of the class states. “Students will utilize course materials to develop insights as to socio-economic status and the role this classification plays in everyday life in America.”

Among titles included in the list are “White Privilege: Unpacking the Invisible Backpack,” “White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide” and “The Origins of Privilege.”

Unfortunately they will present only one side of a two or more sided set of arguments that have their origin in the different natures of different clusters of people. Any course on minorities is a race centered course and needs to study the basis of  all minorities in addition to the selected  minority, …  in culture, education, intellectual ability, physical abilities and the heritage of the minority and compare it to the other cultural clusters around the world and through history.

They claim: “The Westfield Public School District, in partnership with families and community, educates all students to reach their highest potential as productive, well-balanced, and responsible citizens who respect individual differences and diversity in an ever changing world.” No… Absolutely not. First it’s impossible to use a 13 year school period to become well-balanced. That’s a job for trained and qualified phychologists and psychiatrists. It requires a medical, not a pedagogic facility. Second it is not the job of teachers to partner with families and community. the community is not their partner but their supervisor, manager and owner. No one can be a partner to their supervisor. Partners and supervisors are as different as sticks and holes. Third, the differences in students and their parents is not the concern of the teachers who are supposed to teach a class not parent theistudents. Parenting is vastly differen and far more responsible than teaching which is 90% rote.**************************

Two members of the public, however, felt the course would create division among students. A neighbor Randy Warniss called the course material “completely and utterly one-sided.”

“Teaching this kind of division, that these structural inequities are here and there are people oppressing you all the time, is that drawing people together?” Warniss said. “Is that creating some unity in our society, our very divided society, or is it further dividing our society?”

Resident Steve Christian said that the course material is “so left-leaning.” Read the minutes for yourself HERE.
