According to Cal Thomas “Hunter Biden served on the board of Burisma, a Ukrainian gas company, which paid him $3.1 million over a 16-month period. No one can explain why Hunter was appointed to the board of Burisma. He is a lawyer, not versed in the energy business. He has no qualifications to help direct a huge energy company yet he was appointed to the Board of Directors while his father was vice president of the United States and, according to Bloomberg, pursing “…an anti-corruption policy in Ukraine … that included a call for the resignation of the country’s top prosecutor who had previously investigated Burisma.” Burisma is the largest private natural gas producer in Ukraine. It is owned by Mykola Zlochevsky, a rather shady Ukranian who has been convicted of many charges.
