LGBT’s want to be considered the same as everyone else but everyone else is not LGB or T. Compared to the whole population the number of Lesbians, Gays and Bisexuals is rather small. Current estimates from The Williams Report is about 2.7 million lesbians. About the same for gays. Bisexuals about 5.7 million for a total of 3.5% LGB or T out of 320 million heterosexuals. That’s about a hundred hetro’s to one LGB ot T. The Rights of everyone are important but the LGBT’s want more. They want to be recognized as “Normal” which is true on many issues except their LGBT status. Should gay people marry? Sure but it’s a different relationship than the hetro male – hetro female marriage. The basic summary of how hetro’s should respond and treat LGBT’s is up to the individual. Government and politicians should step aside. Keep out of the issue except of course when there is a police issue. No one should be forced to associate with anyone by anyone. That’s what America is all about. Associate or not. Your choice. It’s not an issue of who gets to marry whom. that’s up to the who and the whom, not anyone else. Same for who has to associate with them. It’s up to you.
