She hated the man. She admits she hated him and her hate caused her to have a heart attack and she blames that not on herself and her hate but on the president. Of course Barbara had volition. All sentient beings have the abilty to choose. Barbara Bush, not Donald Trump made her decision to hate and her wrong decision caused her demise. Hate can do that. It apparently did it in this case.
Her hate was because her son Jeb wasn’t intellectually equipped to debate Donald Trump. that was perhaps not Jeb’s fault. No one can control their genes, their DNA which determine how they function. Donald Trump called Jeb “a very low-energy kind of guy” on September 2, “a low-energy person” on August 28, “very low energy”. Jeb’s low energy wasnt Trumps fault, it was partly Barbara’s.
Jeb’s lousy DNA was due in part to Barbara’s contribution to his DNA. She should have known that Jeb’s DNA was not because of Donald Trump but because of the way her DNA and her husband’s DNA joined and caused Jeb.
