Hate to admit it but Hunter Biden’s episodes at Burisma were crimes. To all outward appearances Hunter was a director of BURISMA. He didn’t know anything about running an energy company but he was a useful guy because his name opened doors that BURSIMA needed opened to make money. BURISMA dosn’t make anything. Its in the gas business but it doesn’t make gas. It arranges to buy gas from companies that make gas then sell the gas to companies that use gas for example to make electricity. It needs companies that make electricity from which it can buy electricity and it needs companies that need electricity to operate which is just about every company in existence. BURSIMA used Hunter Biden’s name to show it had influence that could make things easier or more difficult for the suppliers of BURSIMA and for it’s customers. It operated by coersion and threats. The Biden name was used to impress people that cooperation with BURSIMA could make things easier and opposition to BURISMA would make thing harder and things could go wrong if they didn’t cooperate and buy what BURSIMA from BURSIMA.
BURSIMA operates in the Crimea which is now controlled by Russia and Putin. That means politics are important because getting gas or electricity requires agreements with people. Putin took over the Crimean Gas producers.
