They wrote and signed a rather trite letter full of common shibboleth’s about coming together but they left out most of the other religions. They paid for it to be published in The 11/16 Courier. One Rabbi but no Iman joined their letter. No Catholic priest or bishop either. No Buddhists or Shinto’s. No nuns either. All men too. Mostly Presbyterians. A few Methodists. Fewer Episcopals. A Baptist or two.
Give them an attaboy but they didn’t ring the bells of togetherness because here on earth that’s our job.
