Trump has upset the so-called two party system. Before Trump, BT, the two parties shared power and the spoils of government largess. Trump ripped that to shreds. While he hasn’t done it yet so far as the two parties are concerned the danger is that the rulers of the two parties join together to defeat him. That joining has a dangerous history. Starting with, lets say the Young Hegelian’s the desire to “Coordinate” or “Bring Together” the various political forces in a country are a final stage to a one-party rule and that’s the danger, that coordination, that Trump has interrupted.
