2/1/2016. Per the Levittown Post: In Upper Bucks County, GOP committee members on Thursday cast 34 votes for Fitzpatrick, seven for former county prosecutor Dean Malik and 2 votes for State Rep. Scott Petri.
Central and Lower Bucks County committee members also voted overwhelmingly for Fitzpatrick, who was a former FBI Special Agent until last month, when he resigned his position and announced his run for Congress.
As of Friday night, Republican committee members have voted 209 for Fitzpatrick, 22 for Petri, and eight for Malik, and four for Andy Warren.
There will be three more Republican screenings next week in Northampton, Upper and Lower Southampton, Warmnister and Ivyland, Morrisville, New Hope, Newtown, Solebury, Wrightstown, and Upper Makefield. If the committee people there vote like the committee people who have voted for Brian Fitzpatrick, Scott Petri should circulate petitions to return to the State House of Representatives because he will be unable to stand against the Fitzpatrick juggernaut. It’s a juggernaut when Fitzpatrick gets almost ten times as many votes as Petri who has been in the PA State House since 2003 and is well-liked in his district. It’s just not Petri’s turn to be in Congress. There’s nothing wrong with State Rep Petri but Brian Fitzpatrick owns this election.
The handwriting is on the wall. Read it and if you see Brian Fitzpatrick it’s not premature to address him as Congressman.
