Michelle in an almost half-hour address recalled political satire was perceived by her as racially insensitive comments.
“I had a lot of sleepless nights worrying about what people thought of me,” Michelle Obama recalled. (Just like most people.)
“I had to ignore all of the noise and be true to myself — and the rest would work itself out,” she said, winning cheers from graduates.
“We’ve both felt the sting of those daily slights throughout our entire lives. (Remember. She is the First Lady.) The folks who crossed the street in fear of their safety, the clerks who kept a close eye on us in all those department stores. The people at formal events who assumed we were the help,” Obama said. “And those who have questioned our intelligence, our honesty, even our love of this country, and I know that these little indignities are obviously nothing compared to what folks across the country are dealing with every single day. Those nagging worries about whether you’re going to get stopped or pulled over for absolutely no reason. The fear that your job application will be overlooked because of the way your name sounds.” true that Michelle Obama never saw anyone cross the street because they were afraid of her yet she blamed the color of her skin for causing what Jesse Jackson admitted he did; –cross the street to avoid being put in danger from black people.”
Jesse Jackson said a few years ago, “There is nothing more painful to me … than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.” (Here).
“Young black males commit crime way out of proportion to their numbers. Taking that into account when you’re out in the street is not irrational, it’s street-smart. It’s not profiling, it’s probability.”
Michelle seems to love playing the “I’m a victim of raceism” card when it’s well-known she was a privileged child, teen and adult who used Affirmative Action to get into Princeton where she continued to claim she was a victim.
She’s still at it, playing victim even though it’s documented she has a staff of 24 servants at a cost over $1.6 million a year. (Here).
Then there are the extremely expensive vacations, far more and for more frequent than just about everyone not as rich as Oprah. the Obama’s will have spent over $60 Million on travel, far more than any other President and their families and the $60 million doesn’t include all of the transportation for the Secret Service.
Michelle is an example of someone who has surpassed the achievements of everyone except for a few, rare people but who is tone deaf to what happened to her. She’s not a victim, regardless what she thinks or believes. She’s bigoted against something or someone who doesn’t exist. She’s abusing her privilege. She’s abusing the belief in her and her husband shown by the majority of the voters in America. And America won’t stop being abused by the Obama’s when he leaves office.
