is the goal of Public Transportation but it’s worse than just eliminating cars.
There has been an active but secret agenda sent to all the Bucks County Municipalities that is used to plan the destruction of the ability of people to use cars.
It calls for more traffic congestion so people will decide “on their own” to get a bicycle and walk instead of using a car.
It calls for more high rise buildings so food stores can be located inside so people can climb up stairs to buy their food without stepping out and getting in their cars.
Mini-cities with everything contained inside one’s building. Small gardens for each floor where food can be grown and fertilized with sewage instead of wasting water transporting the sewage to treatment plants.
Utopian Dreams? No. Reality. Active Plans.
Check out the “Holland Master Plan” prepared by the political appointments at the Bucks County Planning Commission. Their plans, now being approved by the Northampton Supervisors include walking trails, bike lanes over the already crowded Holland Bridge, greenways and viewscapes where voters can easily walk the five miles to Playwicki Park from Holland.
The problem with the traffic in Holland has been ignored because frustration with traffic will cause people to walk more and that’s healthier.
The purpose of staying healthy is to live. Climbing steps inside a high rise is wasting a life compared to drivingĀ but to the utopians there’s no need to see relatives unless they live in your high rise.
Leave it to government to screw up utopia.
“A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and he carries his banners openly. But the traitor moves among those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not traitor, he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.” – Cicero, 42 B.C.
