In history and in the present, America has become the greatest country because of it’s basis in and the protection of each Individual. That led to the foundation of a government dedicated to the protection of Individual Rights. The fundamental oppposite and the philosophical opposite is a country that protects the tribe which is the basis of Socialism. A third type of country is one based upon religion which in it’s fundamentals is a country based on a religious view of reality. A fourth type of country is one based on a dictatorship which essentially is a country ruled by one person.

Note that Capitalism in this sense is not a system based on money but one based on Individual Freedom. While The Law is used to punish violators of the contract between the government and the individual Capitalism contains a reward system in addition to the system of punishment.
