Gandhi, Eleanor Roosevelt, Vaclav Havel, Ken Saro-Wiwa, Sari Nusseibeh, Corazon Aquino and Liu Xiaobo thus undercutting the capabilities of the Nobel Committee.

Jean-Claude Arnault, the husband of Katarina Frostenson, a celebrated Swedish poet and a member of the Swedish Academy, has been accused of sexually assaulting 18 women, including other academy members, their wives and daughters. Mr Arnault has denied the charges.
María Corina Machado was given the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday for promoting democratic rights in her country and her struggle to achieve a transition to democracy, while ignoring the insanely more difficult work done by Donald Trump on the world stage, not in the small country of Venezuela that’s half the size of Alaska and slightly larger than Texas.
Machado, a 58-year-old industrial engineer who lives in hiding, was blocked in 2024 by Venezuela’s courts from running for president and thus challenging President Nicolas Maduro, who has been in power since 2013. She couldn’t even, … well,… this is preposterous on a political scale and throughly disgraces the Noble Committee.
