Whiole making a purchase the clerk at the store asked if I would like to charge the purchase. They explained I could pay for the purchase after the new card arrived. I agreed. they sent a notice for the purchase of the goods plus a rather high additional amount. I paid for the items I wanted to purchase, wrote CANCEL in large uppercase letters on the notice, added a stamp to the envelope and put it in the U.S. Mail.
They sent another letter with even more charges to which I had never agreed. Several months have passed and they now claim I owe them more than double the price of the purchased goods. I intend to see if they can be contacted on-line to resolve this matter otherwise I’m going to report them to the local District Attorney who obviously has far more important things to
