Yes. It’s confirmed that American born Cardinal Robert Prevost is now known as Pope Leo XIV
He followed in my footsteps at Villanova, a college founded in 1842 on the Main Line of the Pennsylvania Railroad that became a university in 1953. Unfortunately he’s a poor fit with MAGA, being against borders, Woke and against wealth so therefore and thereby against America. Oh well… The Pope has a huge platform to give speeches and unfortunately loads of people follow him so his reign will be problematic for Right-Wingers. Here’s a photo of the conclave of worldwide Cardinals inside the modified Sistine Chapel.
Here’s the front of the church at Villanova that has two bell towers. Why two? Like a lot of things about religion, no one knows for sure.
It marks the building as a Christian church. No church needs two spires. Most synagogues have no tower but the Great Synagogue of Plzen in Czechoslovakia has two towers.
Religious buildings are purposely designed to create a feeling on being small and insignificant even though all religious buildings are designed by people. Look at the ceiling at a synagogue in Budapest, Hungary.
One of my personal favorites is the Beth Sholom Synagogue in Elkins Park near Philadelphia by Frank Lloyd Wright shown here.
I’ve also been to Saint Peters in Rome, the largest church in the world where Pope Bob will be in charge.
The dome at Saint Peters was designed and built by Michelangelo.

The building is stupendous.
The altar is an incomparable creation that’s worth more than Trumps apartment at Trump Tower.
This is what’s behind the altar. Magnificent!
They charge about Ten Bucks to join in a tour of the place. You can do it yourself by buying a book that explains everything but that’ll cost you a bit more.

The new pope is a duel citizen of America and Peru where my friend Jay was born in the little village of Iquitos. I’ve been to Peru and brought back some of the local firewater known as Pisco.
