First of all recognize that there are spontaneous abortions: abortions that are caused by nothing except the nature of the woman. Genetic abnormalities within the embryo (ie, chromosomal abnormalities) are the most common cause of spontaneous abortion and account for 50-65% of all miscarriages. It is the nature of the organism for things to grow inside and on the outside of a body. That’s what makes it possible for the body, the organism to heal or repair itself when wounded. If things didn’t grow inside a body it would be impossible for a scab, for instance to grow over a wound and for the body to heal the wound. No one is against scabs and in fact scabs are routinely removed after surgery to promote proper healing.
